OBITUARY

Mrs. Lawrence Moonan

Mary Agnes Blundell, wife of Lawrence Moonan, died this morning at 4:45 o'clock at her home, 

No. 34 Grand Street, after an illness of four days, of acute intestinal trouble.  Mrs. Moonan was born 

at Ince Blundell, a suburb of Liverpool, England, 51 years ago.  She was a descendant of an old 

and highly respected Catholic family of that place, the township having been named after the family.  

She came to this city from England twenty-six years ago, and by a life of uniform courtesy endeared 

herself to a large circle of friends.  Her husband survives, as well as four children, Mamie A., Catherine M., 

William and Lawrence, Jr.  The funeral will be held at the house Thursday morning at 9 o'clock and 

9:30 o'clock at St. Mary's church.  Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
