this is a wonderful blog. Loved seeing Ed in the Family Shoe Store picture. He was such a good man. I remember him telling me that at one point he worked at the plant that later became Ethan Allen. But when he worked there it was a sports equipment place and his job was to make wooden balls. The way he described making them seemed like it would be easy to get injured. Your family has so much history here in Boonville and are so well respected. thanks for sharing.
